Zimbabwe Postpones re-opening of Schools

The Zimbabwe Cabinet has again postponed the re-opening of schools to a further date which is to be announced after assessing the covid 19 situation in the country. This decision was made on the 14th of June on a meeting that was held.

However the writing of Public exams for June is still as it was and no changes has been made.

As at 15 July 2020 the Corona virus cases are currently at 1024 accoording to Worldometer.  The number has seen a sharp rise in the Month of July and the death rate has also been rising at a faster rate than in the previous months.

The Restrictions are also said to be strengthened especially in the most concentrated areas which are Harare and Bulawayo.
