What is Okhomeonline.com : Beware of scam

What is Okhomeonline.com

Okhomeonline.com is a fraudulent online store advertising on people’s feeds on Facebook and Instagram and wherever they can get access to. Wanna know why I say this? Because it is true and in this review this is what we shall be looking at, we shall be assessing the legitimacy of the site and help you on whether you should buy from them or not.

So I just came across the site and the prices were real high, I know things are scarce out there and stores have closed down and so forth and people are not allowed to go out and this fake site and fraudulent store has taken advantage of this very situations so that they can try to steal from people. Not just them but a whole lot of other scam sites are practicing the very same thing. So if have these questions such as what is Okhomeonline.com, is it legit, honest, real, fake, fraudulent, should I buy from them and so on them this review will be of some help.

All about what is Okhomeonline.com

Now we see that online stores advertising lately haven’t been charging the low prices and too good ones that we were used to, ask me I know those site were scammers and were reported and would disappear after a very short time of advertising but lately it’s been changed. We have a lot of sites that are advertising with high prices like Okhomeonline.com and people now tend to think these are legit and will buy from them because they dont really have anywhere else where they can get them. These sites are not legit sites you will only lose your money and get nothing after that.

Okhomeonline.com is not only guilty of price gauging but they are also a scam site. You pay the high price they tell you to pay and they disappear, you try to sue them or press charges because of their way too high price which they even claim are a promotion and price cut of and you will find that they don’t even exist, or yes they do, some scam people out there, hiding behind a site and you cannot get to them. So even if you do receive the item (which you will not) they still as guilty of the too much extra cash they made you pay.  Now below are some things you need to consider before you can buy from Okhomeonline.com which I can label as…

RED FLAGS

1. Price

So the first red flag is the price itself. The prices that are to high whilst people are told they are actually lower than normal is a trick being used by many scammers because they no that most people are not even aware of the real prices of the items and will take their word for it when they claim it is actually a low price. So it is not only too high which is illegal , but it is also a scam trick being used by scammers to make you pay lots of cash.

2. Creation date

Someone once said to me you are killing new businesses. Not at all, not all new sites are scammers and the site he thought he was protecting scammed him. A new site, advertising on Facebook and with no phone contact details and scam price characteristics and hidden identity is a scam. Now this site here already has the price characteristics of current scam sites and guess when it was created. The site was created on 5 April 2020 and is too new to be trusted. No matter what you do never buy from a site this new.

3.Identity and other

Who knows who the owner of the site is and where you can get their offices? No one. They don’t have a phone number to call either and a page on social media where you can follow them and get to see other customers and what they have to say. Of course if they are a real company they would be in trouble for the gouging. You may want to see their details on their whois page below.

VERDICT

Either way, the site is an illegal and fraudulent online store. If you buy from Okhomeonline.com you will have to risk receiving counterfeits which is the least probability or receiving nothing at all and getting excuses or nothing at all. If you are interested you might as well check out how to make money online instead of these fake stores. Stay safe and don’t get scammed.  For questions regarding what is Okhomeonline.com and sharing your thoughts leave a comment below.

The big scam here is they are gouging prices and hoarding supply. This type of site is currently being cracked down on here in the US but there are always people who will do this and call it arbitrage to buy from Amazon, jack up the price and sell in their own online stores or on eBay. It’s a sickening act to take advantage of fellow humans for profit by fraud or gouging.

All around the world I guess this price gouging thing has become a problem due to the pandemic. In the US many stores have been sued with over a thousand complaints of price gouging in less than 2 weeks. These sites really need to be shut down

I have 2 years of experiences in online business space. But when I head over to Okhomeonline official website, it just looks legit for me. I need to take time to appreciate your article for revealing their ugly truths. I’m sure your content will avoid a lot of people from the scam, too.

Zac, these sites will work hard to make sure they look as legit as they can and impress the potential buyer. Looks will be very deceiving and you ought to look further than that. I’m glad you got time to look them up.

Hi thanks for sharing this article.these ads are fraudulent. okhome (not okhome online) is a korean cleaning service. they do not sell cleaning, sanitation, or personal hygiene supplies! the Chinese are using this legitimate and ethical korean company’s name to promote products that are not even legal to sell in the United States.

Thank you Martha for sharing this info with us. We really were not aware that this is a scam copy of a legit online store. This is usually the case with most scam sites as they try to gain trust from the victims.

Hello Wilson. Sure thing the scammers won’t give a platform to interact because it will affect their reputation once there are reports all over.

A great review you have done here and definitely one that I found very interesting to read. To be honest, this okhomeonline  seems rather off right from the name to everything that is present there. I thought I was just being paranoid but thankfully that your review has confirmed to me that they are actually a scam and should be avoided. Thank you for thee red flags you pointed out. I will surely be on a lookout against other platforms too

Interesting.  I am pretty dismayed at the poor policing by Facebook of these types of scams on their platform. How long will it be before governments start putting them under pressure to introduce good regulation to the entry points for this type of unscrupulous business. I find it disturbing that you have to do Facebook’s job for them but gratifying nevertheless that you do. Thanks again for yet another one found out and pointed out.

Wow, what an eye opener.  Thank you, you are doing a wonderful community service by helping protect people from such terrible scammers, preying on people wanting hand sanitisers and other essentials during the Corona Pandemic.

I took a look at the site out of curiosity and would not have guessed it was a scam site.  This has really opened my eyes to be more careful when buying online and I’ve bookmarked your site and your link to online threats.

I hear so much about people getting scammed online and you have now showcased how easy it is for unsuspecting innocent people to get sucked into these clever scams.
    Thank you so much!
