What is Megadeals.ltd : Scam or legit?

What is Megadeals.ltd

Hello guys and welcome to my review of Megadeals.ltd. In this review we are going to be accessing the legitimacy of this site and help all those who may be wondering whether the site is legit or just another online scam site that is after people’s money with nothing good to offer in return. Have you bought at Megadeals.ltd? Please do take a minute to share your experience with the site. If you have any questions such as what is Megadeals.ltd, is Megadeals.ltd a scam, legit, honest, genuine, real, trustworthy, fraudulent, good or bad online store then this review might just be am eye opener and help you with the answer you may need.

What is Megadeals.ltd? Is it a scam?

The reason you may be asking this question is that possibly you habe ordered from the site, paid money for it and never got anything yet and it is way past the date that the purchase was supposed to be delivered. If the site had been all clear and nothing fishy hasn’t been going on then this site wouldn’t  be under review at all. So to answer the question of what is Megadeals.ltd we are going to be looking at a number of things to help us understand whether the site is a scam or not.

So if you were planning on Buying anything from the site you may want to reconsider and make sure that you purchase your product from a time tested and trusted supplier. As at date clearly the site Megadeals cannot be trusted as already questions have begin to emerge, questioning the real intentions of the firm when it is actually still on its first days, the future doesn’t look so bright for it after all now lets take a look at what peoples are saying about the site. What put thebsite under review and why is it being labeled as an untrusted site.

What people are saying about the site

Megadeals.ltd hasn’t been online for long and as we have often heard so many times, first impressions matter. The first impressions that have been given by the site haven’t been all that impressing as far as we know. People get to know about the 1 thing you do wrong than about the 100 you did right. It is what it is , we haven’t heard any good news about the site but we do have a lady that seems to be complaining of having had been scammed but the site.

At onlinethreats alerts an email was received of one customer who reported the site complaining that she placed an urgent Christmas order of a Drone and a month later still there was nothing. She tried to contact the site and they never really did take action and claims they gave her fake tracking #. ” Do not under any conditions do business with Mega Deals. You will be very sorry. I am thinking that I will start using Google Pay from now on ”

Well we have been discouraged from using the site by one customer who is Scammed for the moment. Maybe one day she will get her drone or is it for life, scammed for life? Could this mean she has already lost her money forever and you can do so too? Those questions don’t really matter anymore, if you have bought from the site and things are going as planned report the site here and if you were planning to buy from the site but just wasn’t sure yet? I’m sure you can find all you need on Amazon if you search it up, do not buy from Megadeals.ltd, at least not yet.

Scam signs

Now there are some things that make the site look legit and we also have a few other things that make us believe that the site could be a scam given that we already have a report that is against them. Lets look at some of the scam signs from the site.

Other related site

Megadeals limited isn’t the first to be suspected of online scamming. There are a.pot.of such sites and amongst them are also other sites that have been linked to mega deals. These are probably mega deals babies. The site is called vr720.pro and this site just created a month after the creation of Megadeals.ltd has also had some reports that seem to suggest it is a scam.

Could this be a simple misunderstanding leading to 2 people reporting 2 different sites which they have no idea are related, for scamming. I doubt that. Mega deals also owns another website called aircool24.pro which is all about air coolers and vr720 is all about the vr720 virtual gun.

Both sites are niche markets that are targeting only those niches whilst they have the big mamma also targeting those markets but having more products. Although they seem to have the same owner because they use the same company name and same email address they also have different addresses.

Fake Facebook platform

Small things matter, down through the years having a Facebook link page has made people believe a site is legit and this has been used against them. By having a Facebook link on their page they are just telling you hey we also have a Facebook page you can trust us and usually if they are scams it’s a lie.

Facebook pages are bad ideas for scam sites because it gives room for criticism and people get to know the bad sides of the site and for good sites it gives a good reputation and ups sells and improves their products. The link is just to make you believe, you click on it and it doesn’t really work.

Whois info

As for who owns the site the name is given but the infor cannot really be verified. On whois the informatio we only have is the hosting website for the site and dates of creation, expiration and last updates. The site is however registered for short term and this also makes it untrusted and it is still too new to be trusted. It was created in Aug 2018.

So sorry for your experience with the site, hopefully you will get them three.

      Thanks for reporting them. Cheers

Hi I bought one of the famous robovacs advertised by them on FB and it was a useless toy that did nothing useful. However I persevered with them and returned the item to the address they provided in China and I claimed the postage back from PayPal which they paid. Eventually after providing a tracked delivery receipt and multiple chase ups they have refunded me the full cost. My advice keep trying I sent an e mail every day for 3 weeks

I did same but have had no refund even though I have emailed numerous times for months!
I originally couldn’t find receipt from Post Office to prove that I had sent it back. Now that I’ve found it I can’t email it to them as messages bounce back.

Hi Karen, I too ordered the digi antennae deal and got 3 emails telling me they’d upgraded the shipping tracking number. The tracking number was the same each time but now on the tracker site instead of ‘in transit’ just says number not found.
Sent an email saying that I suspected a scam which just bounced straight to me.
I guess we live and learn

I don’t know about a straight scam, but most definitely a dodgy site. On face book megadeals advertised a robot floor vacuum cleaner. Their claim was their cleaner was different from all the other brands, in as much as their cleaner scans the room first then cleans In a grid pattern. This “smart super cleaner” allegedly avoids cleaning over and over the same place. I thought what a great idea, I must have one at least. Yes the vac arived, problem is, just like most $19.95 vacuum cleaners it operates randomly, bouncing around in hallways, going over n over the same place. The add was not only misleading but a straight out lie. I did make a formal complaint and was refused a refund. It was not a cheep vacuum cleaner. I would strongly suggest avoiding Megadeals LTD completely. I am lodging a complaint with the commission of fair trade. Keep u posted.

I purchased the vacuum as well and it’s nothing but a piece of plastic junk. I sent an email to them but don’t expect a reply. Certainly for over $100 this is a scam

This was a horrendous experience. I ordered 2 Robo vacuums from an ad on Facebook. What I received can only be described as the Dollar Tree version of it. It literally did NOTHING of what it advertised it should do! Nor was it the same Vacuum I ordered. It couldn’t even vacuum up a feather if it’s life depended on it. When I asked for a refund I was told to send it back to CHINA at my OWN COST which would be more expensive than the product itself. Save yourself the Headache and stress – stay FAR away from their products!

        2. Tammy Avatar

Same here. Only I was even more trusting and ordered 4 as it was a “good deal.” Now I’m out almost $300. and have 4 pieces of junk and a refusal for refund or return despite the fact the website says returns are eligible within 30 of delivery. The product is also still in the original packaging, as they know, but that is irrelevant to them of course. They expressed zero care about my being displeased that it is not the product I believed I was ordering. Of course they were not surprised at all by this, as they obviously get this complaint all the time.

Megadeals is a scam!! I had the same experience as many others. I bought their robo vacuum for $80 that turned out to be a child’s toy, and a very poorly made one at that. It froze up after 2 hours of use. I have applied for a refund through PayPal but Megadeals has replied that they will not refund the money.

      2. Lisa Smith Avatar

I also bought what the site called a MaxClean robot vacuum, from the Facebook ad. I ordered three (two as gifts) and in about three weeks I received three VERY SMALL “Super Sweeper” vacuums. It only runs in random circles and when it encounters an object it stops moving, not even bouncing off to continue circling. I tried to contact the site through their “CONTACT US” and my message would not even upload when I hit SEND. I have tried for two days and nothing. When I tried the “CHAT/SUPPORT” portal it told me I am not authorized to access it and to contact my help desk administrator. At the bottom of the site it says “Once you sign up, you will have complete access to our self service portal and you can use your account to raise support tickets and track their status.” I don’t want to raise support tickets, I want a refund!

It is a scam site. My wife had the same experience with the vacuum cleaner. She saw a fancy ad on Facebook showing a robot that would calculate an efficient path to clean. What we got was basically a ridiculous toy that would bump into something and randomly spin around the same way old electric toy cars once did. It didn’t even drive straight. What we received wasn’t even worth $10, but we were charged $60 for something they blatantly lied about. Of course, like everyone else who actually got a response from their “customer service”, we were told no refunds because, according to them, we received what we ordered.

Yep – I fell for the same deal. The video they created for this is very slick and what they show looks good – not like the cheap random wandering toy that I got (similar to toys I had as a child in the 60s). Does anyone have a link to that video – I can’t find it in browser history, and un fortunately it looks like facebook doesn’t track these things.

I bought some fuel saving devices for the car from them it cost me €75.00 I could have bought the same items on eBay for €15.00. My product came from a chinese site who were selling them for €15.00. So I think the way they operate is to use catalogues from cheap Chinese sites like bangood or other such sites, then take your order and buy the product for you from one of these sites making a huge profit. The reason some of these items don’t arrive is that a lot of that stuff gets lost coming from the chinese sites, the best trick is, if you are thinking of buying something from them. Look it up first on Banggood

  5. Mrs Hayes Avatar

Saw there advert on Facebook showing Martin Lewis recommending 5 things pensioners should buy. Seeing this felt safe to order the fuel saving device for my car and the electricity saving box. Checked the site of Martin Lewis to find he does not support this. I have paid out £39 per item. Have eventually received the articles after long delay of shipping from suspected China. The articles look cheap, instructions worded badly, so scared to use now as I am feeling vulnerable being a 75 year old women on her own and worried that these devices could be dangerous. Don’t know what to do.

Wow. I, stupidly I guess, bought the robot cleaner last week. The payment went through PayPal and they said I would receive a tracking number within 24 business hours. No tracking number yet, but they were quick to process my payment. I received an email thanking me for my purchase and asking me to rate it. Asks in the email if you are happy with your purchase. Click yes or no. The “no” hyperlink doesn’t work. The “yes” hyperlink appears to maybe work, but I was afraid to click it.
I sent an email to them days ago asking where my tracking number was, but have heard nothing. I guess I’ll give it another week and then start a stop payment with the CC company.

    Hi
I’m from Portugal. Yess bad scam
I saw an advertising (in portuguese language) very well done in Instagram about a vacuum cleaning robot that was created by 2 Portuguese engineers that worked for a big company and started their own business in Oporto City in Portugal. The Robot was better than original (more sophisticated and electronic advanced) and cheaper because they don’t spend money in advertising. All this information was in the video. Also that the company is portuguese etc. I became curious and click to see more. Next step went to a portuguese site with a very good pictures of the Robot. I give it a go and order it. Next step (without even login or need to create an account) I was redirected to Paypal. As I know paypal is a safe site I clicked buy. There was no confirmation and no need to create an account in that site. Finally I got an email from megadeals thanking about my order. After a couple of days they sent an email with the tracking origin from China. Here I knew this was a scam. After a few days I got the order in Portugal and the product that they sent is a Toy. A real ….real bad copy of a vacuum robot. So I was Scammed and Megadeals definitely are fraud and scam… Don’t buy from these guys.
I already claimed in paypal and waiting for a resolution.

The mega deals started advertising a robot vacuum cleaner which they created a very touching story. 2 engineers got fired by the well known vacuum cleaner company and they started their own one. Those 2 men had a big heart they use better technology and also better material and programs which the other companies won’t do because those companies would lower the cost and make more profit from the customers.

Well I am a business man and I started my own business 9 years ago. I got fired from my old wholesale company and I put all I have to start my business and had been working very hard for the past 9 years. So I thought we have the same life and experience and I purchase this vacuum cleaner just to support them ( I do not need that shxt)

But finally they did not send me anything. I of course tried to contact them and they replied that “we do not have your purchase record”. I paid by paypal and I gave them the transaction number and they just ignored and never reply again.

So I had took 2 actions: reported to ACCC, fair trading. And I will report to all social media once I see there is any.

Mate, work hard, find a way to make money but not survive in this world with scams and lies!

FRAUD – Reposting this from Mike who said exactly what I wanted to say!!!

FRAUD. You enter into a deal to buy a fully-functionning, high-spec quality robotic “MaxClean” vacuum with return-to base charging station, etc., which looks like it comes from the UK. You wait 3 weeks and receive all kinds of emails saying it’s rushing on its way to you (and realize it’s coming direct from China) then eventually receive a completely different “on-off” battery powered 20cm diameter lightweight piece of rubbish, (called a “Supercleaner Sweeper) which looks nothing like what they sold you. Comes not even with a charger, just a short USB cable. The whole thing is worth maybe £10 Max ($20 max). Thanks Facebook for allowing such ****wits to advertise on your platform and scam your clients. Saves you doing it, I guess… AVOID like syphilis.

I received my 3 Robot vacuum cleaners today 5/15/2019. One box was crushed. The device was not damaged at all. The “Robot” is a piece of junk. There are no sensors and it bangs into the walls. There is no volume to the dust bin so the great sucking power doesn’t really do anything for you. The device does not work at all on any type of carpeting. I got what I paid for. “Expensive Junk”. I’ll be going to the Federal Trade Commission after my credit card company, and Facebook and anyone else that wants to listen to my story. Don’t get scammed. In MEGADEALS I bought a cleaning robot called Max Clean but I received a toy of poor quality that does not perform cleaning tasks at all, called Cleaner Super. It doesn’t correspond at all with it was detailed in the advertising video. I sent an email to them but they will not returned my money. I was scammed and now I don’t know what I have to do.

My experience is like those already posted above. Don’t have the robot cleaner yet, but apparently, if it arrives at all, it is not worth having. I, too, trusted Facebook to screen their ads, but apparently that is something that they do not do. The sole redeeming feature of this experience is that I am not alone.

I ordered a wifibooster for P2,600.00 from megadeals. I was given a confirmation number. A month is about to pass and no delivery came. I just tried to send an email to helpsupport-megadeals but the address is a fake. Try its ABOUT US, CONTACT US buttons of their site and they are unresponsive. P2,900.00 has been taken from my credit card.

The shop’s site looks legit. I did not turn to reviews from the Internet only to find out that many had been duped.
I believe we cannot get justice from this parasites. I trust karma!

Yes I found out too late that this is a scam. The vacuum cleaner is nothing like the video advertised and is small. It does not work on carpet and has a very small holding capacity. It is noisy too. So beware, don’t buy this!. it comes from China which I wasn’t aware of and takes a long time to get to you. I don’t think you can get your money back because it is from overseas.

I too was scammed by Megadeals.
I couldn’t believe that their highly produced video ad on Facebook was nothing like the item I received. NOTHING!
So, I got on Facebook and started a group called “Scammed by Megadeals”. To my surprise, the requests to join were 20-40 people a day., from all over the world and all with the same experience as mine. These members have been great. All of us have been unified in helping each other with these bad guys. Many have become amateur detectives, finding the company that they originally ripped off the video from and also helping determine that they are sending fake return addresses. I have kept the group Public. # 1. So that others can find us 2. So that everything is out in the public square, knowing full well that Megadeals also can see everything.
    Our Facebook group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/422841445216425/
Yesterday, I accidently changed the group to secret. But upon notification from members, I changed it back to public. Meanwhile, I guess Megadeals didn’t like that we had gone secret so every Admin & Moderator received this via email:

We have invested substantial time and money into developing our brand, trademark, works, copyright and other public reputation and have been using the name “MegaDeals” in the marketplace for some time now. It has come to our attention that, without our permission and contrary to honest practice in industrial and commercial matters, you are instructing our customers on how to obtain fraudulent refunds from our company. On top of that, you are part of a group that infringes our brand, trademark, images, copyright, and other intellectual property.

We have never granted permission to you or use our MEGADEALS brand, trademark, ornamental design, works, website design, function, theme, images, copyright, and other intellectual property content.
Your activities in instructing customers who have already been refunded into receiving additional ill-gained refunds is in violation of multiple international and national criminal laws, as well as civil laws regarding copyright infringement and unfair competition.
Your activities also deliberately include confusing our customers regarding the return addresses provided.
Additionally, we also have proof of you trying to hide these actions by making your group private and about the discussions you’ve been holding inside the chats.

One of the attached images that they are stating is a copyright infringement is one I took with my own phone, in my own home and of my own paid for sweeper!
We have been open and honest in all our posts and comments. Nothing in this “legal” letter represents us or our mission. I deem it a fake threat, just like their fake emails, fake return addresses and fake vacuums!
Each packaged received was labeled gift with a value of $5- $6! Very much a crime in the United States and everywhere else!
Among the agencies that members have contacted include: FBI Cyber Crimes, USPS Inspector General, Customs & Border Enforcement Agency and many more depending on their own countries. I have just spoken to a class action lawsuit attorney in Dallas, Texas.
Facebook is compliant in this as well. They should be required to vet any product they take advertising dollars from, but they don’t. And there’s no way to flag the original ads as Megadeals removed them before consumers started receiving their bait & switch products.

    Thank you for your time!

Hi everybody above! As You I was scammed by Megadeals and their robotic vacuum (what arrived was nothing like the ad) but don´t give up!
I was lucky to find a facebook group with now over 400 people who was scammed the same way and we have shared valuable info in between us, like files of the original ad etc.
Many in the group has gotten refunds and the most important thing is to keep sending the company emails demanding your money back, contact paypal or your creditcard company and file a report of fraud, report to fraud bureau depending on where you live, write on trustpilot etc etc.
DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWERE!

I was scammed by ordering the Max Clean robotic vacuum cleaner from a Facebook video ad. The vacuum I received was not as advertised. One of the rotating brushes broke off within two minutes. It didn’t pickup any dirt. It was supposed to go around the perimeter of the room and then go in rows across the room. Instead it just kept bumping into things and getting stuck. A charging dock was supposed to be included and the vacuum was supposed to return itself to the dock when finished cleaning. There was no charging dock. I called my credit card company to report fraud after receiving no response from Megadeals on how to return the vacuum for a refund.

I too have been scammed by megadeals with their MaxClean story. Bought five for gifts which was $250+ shipping that I have lost. Much correspondence and emails have been to no avail. I am livid. What, if any, recourse do we have? Shame on your screening, Facebook, for allowing this scum. Need to know how to follow through proactively on this.

We also bought three floor cleaners which was supposed to clean carpets and had sensors on. It states on the paperwork included that you can’t use it in carpets! also they came without chargers

  35. Ken Avatar

I bought the vacuum as well. It hasn’t arrived yet and judging from the complaints it is either junk or wont make it here. There is no recourse. They wont return emails or messages or give out true tracking numbers. I dont mind getting screwed but I like to get kissed. Bastards.

I to was scammed, watch face book video. Bought 3 Max Clean vacuums. Arrived after about two week fro Malaysia, looked like a bunch of toys. Nothing the advertisement. $179 for three, used paypal. Contacted paypal, about the false advertising of the Items. Pay was able to contact MDE and I was instructed to ship back…Had to ship them to Estonia, what????? Shipped it back $79 postage. Though at least I would get my $179 back and be out only $79 through the paypal claim. Mailed it insured and international tracking through USPS. after about two weeks it arrived in Estonia and sat in customs for 10 days. Next thing I was notified through the USPS tracking info it was on its way back to the US. Delivered back to me. Looks like the address I was instructed to ship back to did not exist. Now lets see what paypal does with this. I followed the dispute instructions to the “T”.

Yes, me too – scammed. Saw an advertisement on You tube for a blade 720 drone which was supposed to be top notch and made a purchase on impulse. Happened to google Megadeals only to find ‘SCAM’ regularly turned up on the reviews; also was concerned that Megadeals now had my card details, so immediately panicked cancelling my drone order and requesting my bank that credit card be cancelled/replaced.
I was in contact with help@support-deals.com where they informed me that my order had been cancelled and they had processed my refund, saying to allow 5 working days for money (£119.00) to be repaid to account.
15 days have passed and no money repaid. I contacted help@support-deals.com again requesting more information and an explanation as to why they hadn’t honoured their original statement only to receive a copy and paste reply of their original email. Megadeals parent company is based in Malta: MDE Commerce ltd,
    72, TRIQ TAL-QROQQ
    L’IMSIDA, MSD 1702,
    MALTA.
I am not going to let this go though

Ordered a 720 Drone on 06 August-then found several reviews stating the drones were overpriced rubbish and nothing like those in their ad ( I am ashamed Ifell for their glossy ad on youtube).
Cancelled my order within 25 minutes, only to be told that the goods had been sent and the could not stop the order. I challenged this, as their site stated orders could be cancelled within 24 hours. More emails sent-then told the order had been cancelled by them.
Then more to say goods had been despatched and I would need to return the goods or refuse delivery. The delivery tracking says the couriers haven’t received the goods.
    Still awaiting my refund.
    SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Paid with a credit card via PayPal so hopefully my credit card company will help me. It’s now 12th October.
