What is Matastore.club : Scam exposed

Introduction to what is Matastore.club

Hello guys and welcome to my review of an online  store that has been claiming to be selling real cheap electronic devices. So recently I have just been interested in photography but didn’t have enough money to get started with a new release camera. So I bought myself a DSLR 1100D for $300. I would have bought the 18mp 1300D but it was a little out of my budget with a price of over 500 bucks and guess what today I saw this beauty cannon camera, the very same one going for 89$ and it was just too Good, I had to look this site up and be sure its not a scam but deep down I knew, the site is a scam and not trustworthy at all. Anyways I just had to, just as much as you too are suspecting the same site of scam but still want to find out what is Matastore.club, is it a scam, legit, honest, fake, trustworthy, fraudulent, genuine, a good or bad online store. If you have these questions I’m going to share my thoughts with you here.

Truth and background of Matastore.club

Matastore.club is a scam, I don’t doubt that even though I would have wanted it to be legit because that camera I would sell it for more than 500 bucks and it being sold for 89 dollars is a complete give away that anyone who knows a thing about cameras would want to grab. So you will realise in this review as we assess the legitimacy of this Matastore.club that they are not genuine at all and are simply a way for thieves to steal from you. I have done my home work and now let’s take a look at the scam background on which the site is laid.

Matastore.club is one of the many sites that are advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Well, how did I know it was a scam before I looked into them? Because I’ve been after these Facebook scams for a while now and i know what they do and that just about every new site advertising on the platform is almost a scam every time and in not much time we get a lot of people complaining they have been scammed. So don’t even trust the Facebook ads any more, all for your good, don’t even buy from them unless of course we are talking of sites like Alibaba which are well known and always advertise there. Here are some of my additional findings regarding the site.

SCAM SIGNS

1. Time

When was Matastore.club created? According to my whois details the site was created on the 21st of March 2020. Well this makes them too new to be trusted and leaves them with a big question mark because no one as at date of review can tell you whether they received anything or not and the majority of these many new sites advertising are scammers and they are also registered for short term but disappear in no time.

2. Prices

Back to my 1300D cannon DSLR camera. It was being sold for less than 20% of what it actually costs. How can that be? Even black Friday promotions are if lucky 50% of the price and let’s talk about the electric bicycles and scooters and other items. Prices are too good to be true just so they can tempt you to think you have found a good deal. Don’t buy.

3. Duplicacy

You will find out that some of the pages on the sites are duplicate pictures stolen from other legit sites.

4. Contact

The contact details are there but you won’t be able to access them through phone call so that they don’t get scammed. All scams usually do this.

6. Ownership

I doubt no one really knows and evidence of who owns the site. Those details are not registered on their whois page.

Conclusion

If you are going to buy from the site I am not going to join you as much as I would love the camera. Buying from them you will risk making a payment and getting nothing or if lucky you may get some counterfeit or have your credit card over charged. Once again you have done the online community a service by identifying an unscrupulous and dangerous operator who makes it difficult for more legitimate businesses to ply their trade on the net. It is a shame that we have to self regulate and set up services like yours but it is great that you take the time and energy to do just that.  Thanks again for a timely warning of yet another internet bandit!

Well thanks for exposing this scam website! I also found their store through Instagram ads and amused how cheap most of their electronic devices. I got this weird feeling and fortunately, I find your article here that explaining the scam signs. I won’t check this site again until much later, when there are many reviews that indicate this site is actually not a scam. Thanks

I have been noticing that Facebook has been having lots of too good to be true ads lately. I got scammed by 2 of them before I learned my lesson. That’s why I used PayPal to pay for them, and I got my money back. Facebook should be ashamed for not policing there ads more than they do. Keep up the good work.
