Hello guys, welcome to my review of some online store that is selling some smart bike items, called smart halo although this isn’t the only thing thry are selling this is what they have been using to advertise their site. In this review we will be looking at Iridesce.shop to assess their legitimacy and find out whether they are a fake online store or genuine trustworthy site to buy from. Well as you shall see in this review and as you may have had suspected this site is a scam online store and not to be trusted. You too probably came across these ads on facebook or instagram just like the rest of the people who have fallen victim. There are quite a number of people that are asking whether Iridesce.shop is a scam online store or legit and the main reason being that the prices that they are charging in what they are calling a promotion on their Facebook ads are quite too good to be true and really questionable. If you have been planning on getting this smart bike thing or whatever you may have had in mind you may want to know that the site is a scam and not to be trusted.

Once you buy from them you wont get anything you bought and your emails won’t be replied either and soon they will disappear after scamming a satisfying number of people and after having bad publicity. This is just a drop in the ocean of the number of such sites that have been scamming people lately using these facebook ads and everyday new scam sites like these are introduced and some are deleted by the owners. Below you will find some scam signs that you may not have had know of about this fake smart bike online store.

The foundation of a thing is very important, Iridesce.shop claims that the promotion is an anniversary promotion and yet this site is just about a month old as at date of review. Whilst in that this shows that the site is still too new to be trusted as it was created on 7 August 2019. The smart halo 2 that is being advertised is also said that it hasn’t even been officially released yet. Selling a new product costing over 200$ for 30 bucks is clearly one scam sign too. You may want to check their whois details, the site is hiding details about their owners.

Conclusion

Like any other new site that is advertising on facebook Iridesce.shop is a fake online store and is only after your money. Do not trust these cyber criminals. Once you make a payment you may find out that your credit card has been over charged and you wont receive anything or may receive a counterfeit item that is nothing compared to the amount of money you will have had paid. I got scammed by these ads, I bought the product on a website called https://archess.store and then I realised it was a Kickstarter project that hasn’t been released yet!

I opened a dispute as I paid via Paypal, I hope I will have a refund…

I made a purchase a few days ago from an add I saw on my tablet that was in a popular app game I play that took to me to the facebook page.. They look legit and even offer paypal. The email address they gave me to confirm my order is a no reply address and the link to their site goes to filippo.store that doesn’t even offer the product I supposedly purchased. I believe I will be be able to get my money back by disputing this transaction and have already cancelled the card used and informed my bank. I will be more careful in future.

Indeed, I just received my ‘Make Your Bike Smarter’ device, paid 40 $ (+ additional custom taxes!!!). Just a blister packaged in a garbage bag (!), this is not more than a bike speedometer, not at all the SmartHalo I was expecting.
Interestingly, I bought at the same time, also from a Facebook add, an ‘Ultra-Smart LED Tail Light’. This time the store was ColaPa. No problem with that one: product well delivered, with shipment tracking, corresponding to the description, cheaper and with no additional custom tax.
Iridesce = fraud, ColaPa = OK.

I was scammed by this site. I ordered what was advertised as a SmartHalo2. I ordered one unit. They shipped two items that are not even CLOSE to a SmartHalo2 for a bike. I have filed a dispute with PayPal offering screenshots of the advertisement and pictures of what I actually got. They were 35$ each. So, 70$ spend for a 10$ product. The company working under iridesce.shop will NOT return any communication on returning the 70 JUNK they sent.

I fell for it too. Hopefully my dispute with Paypal will be resolved. It was a cheap “Bike computer” not even remotely like the Halo. It was kinda like a kid in the ’70’s buying water monkeys from a comic book advert.

Yes this is a scam came through instagram under the Shop name Tigai. Seems to be a network of shopify fraud sites all linked. If its too cheap its too cheap … amen!

What a bunch of crooks and now that I recieved the absolute wrong item I cant get a reply from them. I ordered the superhero bluetooth speaker and got a key chain speaker from them.

I too was scammed by them and I am going thru Paypal’s dispute center for resolution. I ordered the Sound Heroes bluetooth speakers of the future – admittedly a deal too good to be true. 3 foot tall speakers shaped like futuristic robots that charged your phone, lit up in multiple colors and even had a built in fog machine! What I received were a couple of palm-sized crappy speakers that you can find at a flea market! What I don’t get is, if this is a scam, why send me anything at all?? It just alerted me to the scam! I would have otherwise waited months (in this day of endless kickstarter wait times) for something to arrive.

  I ordered the same thing but got nothing. Its been about 4 weeks now. My bank refunded me. You should all get a refund. Especially if you used paypal. I didn’t and my bank still refunded me.

Hallo,
bin leider auch auf den smarten Fahrradcomputer hereingefallen. Paypal hat aber die Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises abgelehnt, da Fahrradcomputer bestellt und Fahrradcomputer geliefert wurde. Auch wenn diese nicht vergleichbar sind. Bin Stinksauer, da man immer denkt PayPal ist Käuferschutz. Denkste! Danke für diese Lektion.

Same here. They got me fooled also. Made a dispute and a complaint at PayPal. These companies should be banned bij paypal.
I have send the rubbish back tot China with a track & trace and should get my money and costs for returning back bij paypal .

  I am about to do the same as this was a requirement to get the refund from PayPal, but I wonder whether the return address is correct and hence if they don’t take receipt of the package PayPal won’t refund. Did you end up getting the refund?

    Im still in the proces. I used the adress that paypall gave me. The packaged arrived in china but has not been collected yet. It probably wont be collected ever but paypall has confirmed i send it to the right adress. So I did my part. Paypall said they are still investigating.
    I also made my refund claim for het costs of sending it

Update: It took me about 4 months but Paypal refunded completely! Also the costs of sending the rubbish back to China. You just have to follow all the claim steps
