Jayco Seneca RV Giveaway Scam on Facebook

There is a fake message that is being circulated by cyber criminals that claims that Jayco owners are giving away a free Seneca RV. Imagine getting yourself a free Jayco Seneca just because you received and fowarded a message. Well forwarding the message probably means you will have more competitors who also want to win this item and even I myself would want it but definitely wouldn’t forward it to anyone because already we know it is fake news and Jayco is not giving away any thing for free. The scam is a common scam and many times the scammers just change the company and the item that is  being given away. Let’s here what the Jayco owners have to say about these claims.

What Jayco has to say:

“While we are running a sales event for our current Jayco owners (www.jayco.com/loyaltybluetag), we aren’t giving away a 2020 Seneca, as it may appear.If we ever do run any official Jayco sales event or giveaway, it will be promoted through our Jayco company page.”

So Jayco have been made aware of this and claim that there is no such promotion going on and that this is fake news they are not in any way associated with. Sometimes it comes as a free nandos or free iPhone or free Samsung or lottery donation and all you need to do is fowars it and stand the chance to win. These are all scams.

Those who follow these messages and foward them risk having their details and stats such as location and email addresses stolen. The scammers aim to get this to get popular and after many towards they can have Facebook put it on the news feeds if there are many likes and shares.
