About the Payment on Hold Scam
Some people who have received this text have absolutely nothing in relation to At and t and these texts are being sent randomly to people. They will tell you to call the number 3218042522 or to call a premium rate number which is a number that provides services to people and has extra charges which will be given to the service providers.
Hence the Call charges of such numbers are high and the scammers will pretend to be giving any services when they aren’t at all and will earn from the calling you do. There are also other possible risks involved with such messages such as being sent to sites that are not safe and might contain malware or stealing your credentials.
Verdict
Any text messages that claims to be from At and T that claims that you have a Payment on Hold is a fake text that is only meant to trick you into calling the scam number.
