Whole Foods $175 Voucher Scam on WhatsApp

Lately there has been a text that has been circulating claiming that whole foods, a supermarket store is giving away free vouchers for you to get anything from theit stores. The messages are fake just like any other such messages that have been circulating. They are being fowarded on WhatsApp and in order for you to receive the voucher they will tell you to answer some questions and some credit card details solicitations. After doing all this you still won’t get the $175 Voucher they will have had promised you to receive after 2 days.

What to do

A lot of people have already received these texts and they will claim that only a small number of people is left so you can feel urged to do what they tell you. It has reached thousands and thousands of people and still no one has received the the Whole foods $175 Voucher. They may class that this  is just a move to help out in the Corona times but this may just be a way to get your credit card details and to complete some surveys or offers which may earn them money.

Verdict

The texts are  a scam. Do not send  them to any one as this is just spread false information and people will keep fowarding it hoping to get anything.  I’m sure you may have received such fowards texts before which claim that if you foward to a certain number of people you will get this and that and did but never got it. There are thousands of such fake news and scams.
