“Viber Will Become Chargeable and Will Cost 0.01€ Per Message”

There has been fake message circulating claiming that Viber a free platform that allows member so send messages  for free will now be charging 0.01€ per message. This is fake message that has been around for quite some time now as the same was also used for whatsapp and Facebook and they claim that your logo will change colour once you foward. “Saturday morning viber will become chargeable. If you have at least 10 contacts send them this message.in this way we will see that you are an avid user and your logo will become blue (Large blue circle) and will remain free. (As discussed in the paper today. Viber will cost 0.01€ per message. Send this message to 10 people. When you do the light will turn blue otherwise viber activate billing.”

Verdict

This message is fake news and it was never in the papers and Viber has not made such an announcement. The message is just mearnt to use you to spread false information and will tell you that if you foward it you will be regarded an active member and won’t be charged with the rest. Do not foward this message and share with all that may have come across the texts and a lot of people have already tried it and it does not work the logo won’t change colour and no one is being charged.
