What Is the VIBER international Balloting award programme lottery emails and texts? SCAM?

Lottery always looks too good to be true even if you are the one who participated. In this case it is so different, you did not participate and yes it looks too too good to be true. The whole thing is a scam and you should not let these guys get inside your head. They are after something and scams are all about money, they want your money and you should not let them get that. Now there are many many people who have also received this scam emails and texts, so does this mean that all these people have also received 500 000 bucks from nothing.

Clearly this is all a lie and it has been around and been done by theĀ  same scammers before. These are cyber criminals who are trying to trick people into sending them money and once you do that you will never hear from them again. Do not send them any private or confidential information especially your bank details as they will use this to steal your money from your bank account if they can get their hands on your pass codes.

How they intend to get your money

Such scams may get your money in mainly 2 ways. They are going to ask you to make some payments which may be labeled as processing costs or tax fees or whatever they may want to call it. Once you send this money to them you won’t hear from them again and of course won’t get any money that they are talking about.

In the payment process they can also make sure you use an insecure payment that allows them to steal your bank credentials and once that happens that can withdraw money from you account and you won’t know it until you check bank statements and realise that they have been charging your credit card continuously. If this happens to you you have to make sure you contact your bank ask for assistance to get these transactions cancelled and cancel that card and open a new one.

Where did they get my contact information

I’m sure there are quite a lot of people who may be worried where these criminals got their contact information. The best answer would be from the internet. The websites you may have had visited, the information that is on your social media accounts, there are lots and lots of places where these guys can get such information and after all this is what they do.

Clearly they have thousands and thousands of these emails and phone numbers and you are not the only one. No need to freak out, as long as you don’t make any payments to them then you are just as safe as can be.
