    Waldrup vs Countrywide settlement

    Have you lately just been nailed some cheque that you have no idea why it was sent to you by it seems to be from Countrywide or you have just.heard about the settlement and want to know if you are eligible to be a beneficiary of the settlement.

    Well every year millions of dollars are said to be left unclaimed and at times at a given back to the complaint and this could be your chance to get at least $25 for something that took place years ago and maybe something you don’t even remember. Or would you want to know of countrywide owes you money? Below Is just an explanation of the case between Barbara Waldrup and Countrywide financial corporation , Case No. 2:13-cv-08833-CAS-AGR.

     

    About the case

    Plaintiffs Barbara Waldrup, Elizabeth Williams, Beckie Reaster, and Rebecca Murphy filed two lawsuits against Defendants in 2013 and 2016, respectively. In their complaints, Plaintiffs allege that they applied for home mortgage Loans from Countrywide, or affiliated entities, and that Countrywide ordered a property appraisal from LSA and charged Plaintiffs fees for those appraisals. Plaintiffs allege that the appraisals were not valid because they were not prepared in conformity with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and Plaintiffs would not have paid the appraisal fees if they had known this information.

    Who is Eligible

    The class action has two classes who will see themselves getting compensated so long they did not exclude themselves from being part of the class action. The lawsuit benefits all those who are regarded as citizens of the United of America who between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2008 had an appraisal with Landsafe for a loan from Countrywide and this is the Nationwide class. The Texas class includes all persons who also from the same period of 1 Jan 2003 to 31 December 2008 received an appraisal from Landsafe  for a loan which was originated by Countrywide.

    The claims certified for class action treatment consisted of a claim for alleged violation of the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act on behalf of the Nationwide Class and a claim for unjust enrichment under the common law of Texas on behalf of the Texas Class.

    Conclusion

    The payments will be sent.to.members of the class from 10 October 2020 into the month of November. If you have received any emails or notification that you are eligible then you will be receiving some check in the specified time it is not a safe or fake information.
