Thousands of people have just been getting some notification on Facebook saying you have a new message from about your payments. Lots of people have already received this and no one seems pretty sure what the notification really is about because when you click on it you don’t really find any message from Google but just some old notifications from Google such as past notifications about posts that go against Facebook community guidelines. Is it a scam
There is nothing that looks phishy on the notification of course except the fact that they are talking about some payments but the majority of the people have never really made any payments to Google unless of course you advertise on the platform. They dont ask you for any credit card details or to make any payments when you click on the notification either. If facebook was ever going to be in use for some monthly charge I’m pretty sure we would all be aware of it by now but if that ever happens its still a long time from now.
Verdict
If you have received this notification that you have a new message from facebook about your payments you really need not worry about it. From how I see it, it could be some error that just took place and I doubt these guys have been hacked and your account hasn’t been hacked either.
