Hello everyone and welcome to my review of some messages that have been circulating on social media platforms mainly Facebook and WhatsApp that claims that home depot is giving away free vouchers for $175. The reason behind this is said to be to help the mation but is this really true? Have you received these messages and have you clicked on the link and done what they tell you to? Did you receive your voucher?
Well, please share with is your experience with news that is being spread ad it has reached a lot of people but one thing that we know is for sure is that this is a fake message and not from Home Depot and no one is receiving these vouchers even if you complete the surveys and so the forwarding. What others have experienced
Those who have come across this message so far have been clicking the link which will be given and after you do so you will be directed to some fake home depot website where you will be asked some questions. Once you complete these you will be told to foward the message to a certain number of chats from your contact so that you can receive your voucher which you don’t receive after doing this.
Lots of people have already tried it and it is being received by a lot of people. This isn’t the first scam there ate any such scams that circulate such as the RV giveaways scam, the Nandos Voucher scam, lottery donations and the like and these are all fake news and somehow the ones who create them do benefit from them without out knowledge on how.
Verdict
The messages are created by people or even cyber criminals who will somehow benefit maybe from collection of personal details or directing your to untruyekrthy online stores. Do not CLICK the links if possible and even if you have you still have nothing to be afraid of as this looks like it is only fake news that is being spread and will die down in a matter of days or even months.
