Bank of America “You Have a Time-Sensitive Message” Phishing Scam

Hello everyone and welc9mw to my review of some text messages that have been circulating lately as they are being sent by cyber criminals to various people. These messages claim that they are from the Bank of America and that you have received a time sensitive message.
Once you open the text you will be told that they found some unusual activity on your account and this simply means that someone has been trying to use your account. Is this legit or a scam or fraudulent? Why then have I also received this text even thought I don’t have an account with the Bank of America. This is what we shall be explaining now now. Don’t get scammed it is fake and also share the message you got here to increase awareness.
How the scam works
So this new case has been reported as a phishing scam. If you get it do not follow anything they tell you to do and delete it. The message is meamrt to trick you into putting your account details amd password onto the Html. Once you do this your account is at risk as the scammers now have your details.
There are a lot of these scams and once you see any that looks like this it is better to first confirm if you do have an account with the claimed company or bank the texts claim to be from. I’m this case some people who have received these texts do not even have accounts with Bank of America. Below is a sample of how the scam works
