  • Free iphone 11 giveaway scam

    Free iphone 11 giveaway scam

Hello everyone and welcome to my review of the new scam that claims to be giving away iphone 11 for free. There are some sites which are actually related to these fake news and they should be quite a number. So most probably you may not have had come across the sites that we may be talking about in this review but if you have come across this scam please also share the name of the site you have come across so we can increase awareness because the sites will most likely come in numbers.

As you shall see in this review we have mainly worldnewtop.com and Xuquqija.xyz which are the scam sites that are being used by the scammers to spread the fake iphone 11 give away scam. Do mot listen to anything these sites will tell you, one thing is fro sure that you won’t get the iPhone 11 that they promise you simply because they don’t gave it and it is not a legit give away but one of the many fake such claims. So below is all you may need to know about this scam and how they operate.

    How the scam operates

At times this is all about getting attention or traffic to their sites. Like this can have great advantage for a new site as they can use this as a way to get themselves approved by ad networks or stiff like that because they provide evidence of having huge traffic on their site. This is possible because the sites that are involved in this are all new sites and worldnewtop.com was created in May 2020 whilst Xuquqija.xyz was created in June.

However this can also go way beyond that and can include them using you to complete surveys which they  can earn money from or sending you to suspicious phishing sites. The scammers are being forwarded on whatsapp and through text messages by people who are tricked into trying them out and this is how they are getting to people.

I even tried it and they automatically typed a message for me and even put in place the numbers I was going to send to and I was supposed to press send and it would reach 12 or 13 contacts I don’t even know and which are not even from my contacts address. So they let you spread the word that way. If you have received the message that is probably how it got there because some one else like you was made to do it. They will also tell you to forward it to 3 contacts on whatsapp or any other social media platforms.

    Verdict

This is a pure waste of time and if do all they tell you to do you still won’t get the iPhone they promise you. We are not sure about what exactly the scammers are after but just like many scan sites that are also doing these and sending false information they are a scam. Don’t do wgat they tell you and also report the sites involved.

  • Seeds from China scam

    Seeds from China Scam

Lately there have been a lot of people who have claimed to have had received some seeds in their mail which they did not order. These seeds are said to be coming from China as this is he address that is found on the packages. So in this review we are going to be looking at what these seeds are all about according to the information that has been provided so far and what you are required to do with these if you have received them.

Well if you have received them you we required to not open them or plant them. I’m sure some curious soul might have had already opened these but I doubt they could be harmful to anyone in any way but its much safer if you don’t open them and hem also report them to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) just in case it is a case of agricultural smuggling they may be needed as proof.

    What to do

If you have received these you are required to report them to the USDA. Below.is a statement from the USDA regarding these seeds that appear to be some kind of a scam.

Today we received reports of people receiving seeds in the mail from China that they did not order. The seeds are sent in packages usually stating that the contents are jewelry. Unsolicited seeds could be invasive, introduce diseases to local plants, or be harmful to livestock.

Here’s what to do if you receive unsolicited seeds from another country:

    1) DO NOT plant them and if they are in sealed packaging don’t open the sealed package.

    2) This is known as agricultural smuggling. Report it to USDA and maintain the seeds and packaging until USDA instructs you what to do with the packages and seeds. They may be needed as evidence.

    Verdict

No one really knows what the intention behind these seeds are. They could be dangerous to local agriculture and harm your crops or could be harmful to people. I simply jus don’t believe that his could be the case by have no msg information about them or what circumstances hey were sent under. It is still not clear to anyone as at date of review but there is no doubt that these were sent by mistake as they have been received by lots of people. Well some people do love attention and this could be the case too. What do you think about these seeds. Could they be harmful or what? Please share your thoughts in the comments section.

    Your PayPal has been limited

As a part of our security measures, we proceed regularly screen activity to learn PayPal recently contacted you after having indentified a problem on your account. Demand information from you for following reason. Our system detected unusual changes to a card credit linked to your PayPal account.

What do I have to do?

It’s simple click on the “Update Account” button and complete the account activation step.

    What will happen

The messages are a trick that has been used by some scammers and maybe after all I remember another sender who seemed to have just about the same email who used to send such emails to people about 1 or 2 years ago. Once you CLICK the link they will send you to a phishing site where if you fill in the details they want you to fill they will be stealing the details and will use them. On reality your Pay pal account isn’t really blocked or anything and if you fell the need to confirm this just open a new tab and type in Pay pal and then login because these will want you to use their fake Pay pal page instead. It’s 100% scam and well known too and being used by a couple of scammers time after time so don’t fall for it and warn people as well.

    Verdict

The message is not from Pay pal as we can see and this is not the kind of messages that Pay pal will ever send you. Don’t follow anything they tell you or click the links that they tell you will help you create your new password or to get the account unlocked.  If you have been scammed by these people you will be at risk of having your pay pal account charged and used without your consent. Also do report any scam emails that you may have had received recently.
