Have you received an email that claims to be from sasol lately and claims to be having vacancies that you may be interested in. Well if you haven’t already paid any attention to them you might just be lucky and may be avoiding getting scammed because already there are a number of people who have already fallen for the fake employment scam. These guys aren’t Sasol at all and in this short review we will be discussing the aim of these emails coming from career@sasolinterns.com. About the scam
The scam is a scam that has been around for quite some time now. Reports of such scams claiming to be Sasol can go back to around 2018 and possibly some time before that. These scammers make you believe that you have found a job maybe through some email or sms.
Once you believe this they will then ask you for some police clearance which they claim you will have to obtain from them. To get this clearance you as told to make a payment then they send you your clearance after you send them the proof of payment. Well this s where you will have had been scammed. You so t get any job and clearance and they will disappear with your money.
Verdict
If you come across some employment emails that tel you to make some form of payments then you want to be careful. They are usually scams just like this one coming from career@sasolinterns.com although there are many other emails address they may use. The emails are mostly being sent to people in South Africa.
