Is the IPhone slow down settlement legit?

Millions of dollars are left unclaimed every year from class action settlements and do you know what happens to these funds? I hear they are given back to the defendant. Well if you have received an email telling you about the iPhone slow down settlement then you want to make sure you claim the money today and this should be on the 6th of October because this is the last date to claim a compensation from this settlement. I’m sure you may have had already heard about the settlement which was brought up a few months ago. Who is eligible?

  • Under the proposed settlement, Apple will make a minimum, non-reversionary payment of $310,000,000 and a maximum payment of up to $500,000,000, depending on the number of claims submitted.
  • You may be entitled to settlement benefits if you are or were (1) a United States owner of an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, and/or SE device (2) that ran iOS 10.2.1 or later or, in the case of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices, that ran iOS 11.2 or later before December 21, 2017, and (3) you experienced diminished performance on your device(s).

Well the case against Apple was that they intentionally slow down the phones mentioned about and this also relates to the battery life.

Verdict

The emails and news about the settlement isn’t a scam and you will stand a chance to get about 25 bucks which could do you a little bit of good and after all this is free money.
