Zoom error code 3113 : How to fix it

Has anyone else also come across some error message whilst trying to schedule a meeting on Zoom? The error code is error  code 3113 and I have received quite a few people asking if anyone else has been experiencing the same and it looks like the problem is being experienced by a number of people at the moment. If you have come across this error code please share with us on how you have managed to fix it and if Zoom support has said anything to you about it.

At the moment  regarding this Zoom error code 3113 a few suggestions have been working for others and you may want to try it out. It seems like the error rose as a result of the changes that were supposed to take place on 27th of September to enhance Zoom security but were then cancelled.

 

Suggested solutions

Others have suggested that the issue is mainly with the settings and you need to play around with them. When your users are scheduling for the meeting some sources have said that you need to make sure that you expand ‘advance option’ and then make sure that the thread ‘enable waiting room is ticked and schedule the meeting with a password.

 

Conclusion

A lot of people have come across this error code lately and it seems like it may be only for today because I don’t think Zoom would let it go in for a long time. Lots of complaints have already been submitted and we are still waiting for feedback on how this can be fixed but clearly this is some technical issues from the site of Zoom. You may need to be patient whilst they are working on this but if you have come avross this prpvpme and have managed to solve it please let us know how you did it.

    Hi,
    I have came across with the same issue and getting the error code “3113” whilst I schedule a meeting without “Require Meeting Password”. If the same is enabled then the error should not pop up.

      I see a comment comes up, “ Calendar authorization has been disabled“. Sign back in.

    It’s a settings problem. Once you edit the advanced setting to enable waiting room or you let the meeting use a passcode, the problem will be solved

      Entering a requirement for a passcode got rid of the error code immediately.

    Except enabling wating room or using a passcode IS the problem that we are trying to fix by changing the settings…

    It might be when using the Outlook plugin as the waiting room and passcode options are not available without the update from last week so causes an error. Reinstall the Zoom Outlook plugin from https://zoom.us/download to fix this.

    I think it has to do with the update. If you update the app everything should regularise itself.

    Using a password enabled scheduling. Without it, I couldn’t.

    Had to give it a password – even if I typed one in myself (aka a word). Then it worked.

    enabling the waiting room worked for me
