Have you received a text or email like the one that is above? These messages are being sent to a number of people and already a lot of people have been asking what these messages are all about and if they are legit. No doubt if you got one like this you might have been gotten real interested especially if you are one person that buys from Amazon frequently, finally Amazon has decided to get you a little something for your loyalty. Well this message is sadly a scam and not from Amazon but cyber criminals that simply want to benefit from you. Also share the message you received in the comments section.
The truth about these messages
The messages are being sent by cyber criminals that will direct you to the phishy and untrusted sites that are in those links on the messages. Once you go to these sites you may be requested to complete some surveys which may earn them money or may be used to get you to give them your confidential information.
Such scam messages may also want you to make a small payment which they claim will help you get your items or gift card, do not buy these lies. They will direct you to hxxp://h3scv.info which is also suspected for malware and considered not safe.
Verdict
The messages are fake and will only use you and put you at risk of having your information stolen and receiving malware software on your device. Do not trust these messages as hey are being sent to thousands of people. They are not from Amazon and if you have any more questions about these you can also contact Amazon support.
