What is fastdealtoday.com : Beware of scam

What is fastdealtoday.com

Hello everyone and welcome to my review of fastdealtoday.com. I came across the site on some Instagram advert and they were advertising a free give away of a magnetic charger to celebrate their 500 000 customers. Well, in this review we are going to be assessing the legitimacy of this advert and see whether the site is for real or is it just another scam online store that needs to be avoided and shut down. From what we have researched we have found this site to be a risky online store to buy from and one that needs to be avoided by all means. I’m sure some may have already had an experience with the site, if you have please share your experience in the comments section right away. So if you have such questions as what is fastdealtoday.com, is it a scam, legit, honest, real, fake, fraudulent, trustworthy, honest, good or bad then this may be of some help.

The truth about what is fastdealtoday.com

Fastdealtoday.com is according to whois details a very new online store that was created not so long ago in December 2019.  The site has been claiming to be giving away items to celebrate some customers they have gained over the time they were online. Well we will need to first see whether the promotion is really based on something before we can trust them and from all the evidence we have had so far the site hasn’t reached 500 000 customers at all.

We have so many reasons to believe that this just shows what kind of a site we are dealing with here. The strategy of faking to have reached 500 000 customers is common and being used by many scammers and even the figure being the same. Don’t let that fool you it is an old trick for all I know and we come across it so many times. I’m sure there are people that may believe the site is legit but I doubt that greatly and given the information below I’m sure you will agree with me and if you believe they are legit you are also free to usher in your views and experiences. Below are some scam signs from the site.

Scam signs

First of all the site is just too new to be trusted. As I have already said they are a December 2019 sites that was created on the 17th and you should never trust a new site, Never. Now in relation to that they have claimed they are celebrating 500 000 customers and that is fake, they couldn’t have had reached that in just 2 weeks time even if they are advertisng their items. So if they are not celebrating 500 000 sales then why are they giving away for free. Well if they were giving for free then there wouldn’t be need to enter a payment method. So it isn’t for free at all once they get the little money you send as ship payments or once you leave your card details they can easily charge you without you even knowing. The owner of the site is not known and in addition to that they have given  a phone number that  doesn’t work.

Conclusion.

If I were you I’m 100 % sure I wasn’t going to trust the site. Don’t let then get access to your credit card details and if they have just make sure you report to the bank and check for any transactions. If you attempt to buy they will charge your card and you will most likely receive nothing or will receive counterfeit items. Hi, I stupidly bought a bluetooth headset. Now there are recurring charges on my CC. I already disputed them, and the CC company is refunding those charges, but how do I stop it completely?

This just happened to me! I’m currently on hold with my credit card company to dispute both charges. I definitely did not authorize the $20.04 they charged to my card yesterday 😡

So according to my dispute/fraud department its a monthly membership charge of $14.95US or something. There was NO mention of a membership fee when I ordered the item that never arrived. I’m waiting to see if they’ll cancel my account or if I have to get a new credit card

nervous seeming I have already paid for it and now they have my credit card details. What is the best thing I can do?

I have a bank transaction from FastDealToday, where £11.41 ($14.95 USD) was charged. I don’t recognise the ad and I can’t remember ever going on the website. I have reported the unusual activity on my bank account but I don’t know if it will be sorted.

I have received an unrecognized transaction from FASTDEALTODAY, for $14.95 . I have reported to my Credit Union and they informed me to call back when it post and dispute it . This is what led me to this site to see if this has happened to any one else and I see it has. I just wonder who they are and how do they get your Debit Card info to make the charges.

You pay for your order and then they enroll you in their monthly program for $14.95 a month.

I purchased item online from Fastdealtoday.com and nothing received. They charged my credit card of $7.30 AUD (the charged appeared from London). I sent many emails and nothing respond. I googled online and its scammed. I disputed this with my bank and ask the bank to block this company just in case they might be charge my account again in future. All good.

I have had much of the same experience as many of you have had. Not only that, but last month they charged me for their membership under a different name(direct drop deals), and this month they charged it under fast deal today. Both transactions were for $14.95 USD. I have emailed the “first” company, and on the website I can’t even login to cancel, because they created the website they use to lure and catch people, not to allow them to access their status. I did however receive my magnetic charging cord. Surprisingly, it works incredibly well and came early. But I cannot ignore the fact that they are so elusive despite the fact that I actually received my product. On the first company’s website they say that they have a customer support team ready 24/7 to reply to emails and such. A month later and no reply. Hmmm… I find that more than a little suspicious. To add to this, they use tactics that many payday lenders use to make the most money that they can. They know that many of the people that they scam would have little to no money constantly in their bank account as their target audience is those that are not incredibly well off in life as some of their target words include “free” and “giveaway”. Therefore they are aware that they will catch people who will not have enough money in their bank account at the time that their subscription renews, so not only will they not have the money, they will also be charged an overdraft fee as it is over $10. Which could have an effect on the credit score of their victim. But because it is monthly and only takes out $14.95 and there are “communication options”, the victim may fall into a false sense of security and not take immediate action other than to email, therefore it continues under the radar until the next month hits and with it comes the monthly subscription renewal fee. They kept it small and monthly to avoid suspicion as well. Also changing their charging account information will make it harder to block. I realize that I should have been smarter than to fall into this trap, but regretfully I am in this position. I would like to add to this warning my own testimony.

I just found what it’s from. Through looking at my emails I apparently am part of a membership deal (which I don’t remember doing). Perhaps by purchasing something you automatically join as a member and have to pay a monthly subscription.

You may need to get assistance from your bank to change your credentials or cancel the card and get a new one to avoid being charged some more or at least wait until the next charge to see if they keep charging you. Sorry for your experiences

This is scam. They have charged my credit card thrice, usd 15 each time, and I’m yet to receive the item. I have called the bank and blocked my card though i doubt it that im going to receive my money back.

This has happened to me aswell 3 times 1st on 6th feb 2020 $31.11 then 9th march 2020 $24.09 and again on 6th april 2020 $25.92 New Zealand Dollars. Thing is I have never heard of fastdeal until now when I check my card statements, let alone actually buy something online from them.
Question is how they get my card details??

I purchased a “free” item off ShockerDeal back in Oct 2019 for USD11.95. Since then I have had a monthly charge of USD14.95 on my credit card account. The transactions were under the name “directdropdeals” but changed to “FastDealToday”. I rang my Bank and they have cancelled by credit card. They advised me to contact them to see if I can get a refund. I tried sending an email to “support@shockerdeal.com” but it was returned Address Not Found. Looks like I have lost out here.
Just goes to prove you should “Buy Local NZ”.
